Synopsis
En l'an 0068 du Siècle Universel, la vie de Casval Rem Deikun est mise en désarroi chaotique suite à l'assassinat de son père, une figure prolifique dans la croisade pour les droits civiques des personnes vivant loin de la surface de la Terre. Casval et sa sœur Artesia reçoivent l'aide de soldats fidèles à leur père, et les frères et sœurs sont arrachés à leur foyer, séparés, et jetés dans un destin tordu qui les voit devenir des soldats et des adultes à part entière. Des années avant de voler le nom de Char Aznable ou son surnom de « Comète Rouge », Casval doit lutter contre la montée d'une version militarisée de l'idéologie de son père et sa propre nature vengeresse alors que la guerre intergalactique le façonne en un pilote légendaire de mobile suit.
